SettlePocket

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 July 2026 · Applies to the SettlePocket app (Android, iOS, Web)

Who we are

SettlePocket ("we", "us") is a shared-expense tracker that helps roommates and flatmates split bills and settle up. It is operated by an individual developer. For anything in this policy, contact mdarshadkp786@gmail.com.

What we collect

SettlePocket does not process payments and never asks for card, bank, or wallet details. Amounts you record are bookkeeping entries between you and your roommates only.

How your data is used

We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

Who can see your data

Deleting your account & data

You can delete your account at any time:

What is retained: expenses and settlements you recorded in a shared room remain part of that room's history (with your display name), because other members' balances depend on them — the same way a message you sent to a group remains after you leave. If you also want those entries removed, say so in your email request and we will handle it with the affected room's members.

Retention

Data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and memberships are removed immediately; residual backups held by our infrastructure provider expire automatically.

Children

SettlePocket is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 or older.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
